Joel – Learning to Sustain Lag on the Downswing
Joel Simons recent lesson in which we worked on sustaining the angle of the left wrist on the downswing to deliver more power and clubhead speed where it is needed… Through impact and not half way on the downswing!!
Learning how to do this starts by making small swings and ensuring you maintain a bent right wrist/flat left wrist combination through impact. Once this becomes more automatic after several weeks of practice the student can then gradually increase the length of the swing over time making sure impact remains the same.
