Putting Drill for Confidence

A positive putter will ALWAYS beat a negative putter so working on your shorter putts will give you the confidence to give your longer putts a go at the hole.  You will be able to be more positive on your longer putts if you have confidence that you will hole the next putt if you roll it a few feet by.

A positive putter will tend to roll more putts by the hole and the hole will get in the way occasionally whereas a negative putter will tend to leave putts short.  100% of short putts never go in!!!

Place 4 points around the hole at 3 feet.  Go around the circle 3 times and give yourself a score out of 12.  Once you achieve 12 you can move the tees out to 4 feet from the hole.  How many minutes/hours/days/weeks/months does it take you to get 12 out of 12 from 3 feet?  Start the clock

Kindest Regards
